Hindu Heaven - The Dunes T-Shirt

Ganesh is the Lord of Good Fortune who provides prosperity, fortune and success. He is the Lord of Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles of both material and spiritual kinds. Interestingly, he also places obstacles in the path of those who need to be checked. This representation happened to be in Prince Edwarad Island at a gift store called The Dunes. When I stubbled upon this scene I felt an instant calming serenity come over me. I hope viewing this image will do the same for you.

Photography has always been a creative passion of mine. In my career as a graphic designer for 33 years, I have utilized the photography skills I had learned as a student of The Ontario College of Art (OCAD). I feel this knowledge made me a more complete designer. When a design required an image, I was able to grab my camera and shoot what I needed to fit the layout I created. As a former educator, I have always told my photography students that I was going to open their creative eyes. This is the basis of all my photography, to view our natural world in a creative, unique way.
